New Zinnias and Celosia for Johnny’s Selected Seeds

I got to photograph Emily Starck, at Johnny’s Selected Seeds in Albion, Maine, for a 2025 catalog cover. Emily, Sawyer Haney, and Lindsay Wyatt (also pictured below) are the plant breeding team who created these amazing new flower varieties. Pictured are Aurora and Agave zinnias, and Shimmer celosia. Really impressive plants and, as you can see, amazing range of color in just one genetic variety. Be sure to check out their brand new Ballerina zinnia if you’re into those pastel gradients.
