Birch Bog Farm for Down East

Photography from a story I pitched to Down East Magazine about Birch Bog Farm, Maine’s only organic cranberry farm. Birch Bog Farm is a rare dry bog, meaning the cranberries are harvested dry, not by floating in water. This means they can be sold fresh and unprocessed directly to customers! But the coolest thing about Birch Bog Farm is that they also offer U-pick! On the day I visited, there were pickers who had come all the way from Massachusetts just to be able to fill their freezers with fresh, organic cranberries.
